Privacy Policy

The Fusemoji app does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing the game remembers is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress and custom emoji sync between your own Apple devices. That copy lives in your personal iCloud account, where Apple holds it and we cannot see it. It is covered in its own section below.
The one exception is this website's support form, which only receives what you deliberately type into it. It is covered in its own section below.
What the app stores
Fusemoji saves your progress on your device, using the standard iOS preferences and application-support storage. Most of it also syncs to your own iCloud account, as described in the next section. It includes:
- Which levels you have completed, and your best star rating for each
- Which recipes you have discovered, and which level you first found each one on
- Your saved tower loadout for each level
- Whether you have seen the tutorial and introductory screens
- Your sound on/off preference
- Any custom emoji art you create, and any saved sets referencing it
Deleting the app removes the copy on that device. You can also clear individual categories at any time from Settings inside the game — and because those categories sync, clearing one clears it on every device signed in to your iCloud account.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Fusemoji keeps the list above in step across your own iPhone and iPad, so your progress and your custom emoji follow you between them. Your sound preference is deliberately left out, so each device keeps its own setting.
This uses Apple's iCloud key-value storage and your private CloudKit database. Both live inside your personal iCloud account: Apple stores the data, it counts against your own iCloud storage, and we have no access to it and never receive a copy. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Sync is entirely optional in practice. If you are signed out of iCloud, have iCloud Drive turned off, or are offline, the game plays exactly the same and simply keeps everything on the one device. You can see the current state on the Settings screen inside the game.
Custom emoji (Genmoji)
On supported devices you can design custom art for towers and enemies using Apple's Image Playground. That artwork is stored in the app's own storage on your device, and — if you are signed in — synced to your own private iCloud database so it appears on your other devices. It is never sent to us, and the feature for sending custom art to other players is currently disabled.
If you open a shared design file that someone sends you, the app shows you a preview and imports it only after you confirm. Nothing is applied automatically.
Game Center
Fusemoji offers optional leaderboards and challenges through Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, your level clear times are submitted to Apple so they can appear on the leaderboards you choose to view.
That exchange is handled entirely by Apple, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Fusemoji never receives your Game Center account details, and the game is fully playable if you are signed out, offline, or have Game Center restricted — no feature other than the leaderboards themselves is affected.
The support form
If you write to us through the support form, we receive exactly what you put in it: your email address, your message, and the optional device and app-version fields. Your email address is used only to reply to you.
For abuse prevention, the message we receive also includes the IP address and browser user-agent the submission came from. That is standard for a public web form and is not used to build any profile of you.
Submissions are delivered by email through Amazon Web Services, which hosts this site. They are not stored in a database, not added to any mailing list, and never sold or shared. Nothing about the form touches the game — the app itself still sends us nothing at all.
What we never do
- No advertising and no ad networks
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no advertising identifier
- No accounts, sign-ups, or newsletters — and no email collection beyond a support message you choose to send
- No selling or sharing of data — there is none to sell
- No access to your contacts, photo library, camera, microphone, or location
Children
Fusemoji is suitable for all ages, and the app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 — so as far as the game is concerned there is nothing to request deletion of.
The support form on this site is the only place we ever receive an email address, and only if someone chooses to write in. If a child has sent us a message and you would like it deleted, write in and say so and we will delete it.
Links away from the app
The credits screen links to the Twemoji project and the Creative Commons license that covers the game's emoji artwork. Those open in your browser and are governed by their own privacy practices.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
